The Consumer Electronics Show (or CES) is just a couple days away and already I'm seeing juicy tidbits floating around the internet of new technology and upcoming products. Based on the flow of pre-show announcements we've seen, the world of wireless is going to take off at CES. We expect to see new solutions for pre-ratified 802.11n wireless networking, and several companies plan to show wireless USB technologies. What's the promise of Wireless USB? Among other applications, users will be able to point digital cameras and camcorders at PCs and transfer video content with no cables. At CES, one entire Tech Zone is dedicated to new forms of wireless distribution.
